Does the Harpers Ferry Marc run all day? I want to take a day trip from Baltimore/DC. Go in the morning and leave in the evening.

Good video! It took me back to late July 1977 when I was 13. We had taken a "Civil War" vacation which included Harper's Ferry. Dad took me down to the station that evening to see the passenger train arrive. It was pulled by a new F40 but I don't remember if the coaches were Amfleet, Heritage, or a mix. There was still a 'round the clock operator at "HF" at that time. You could stand by the window and hear him talking to the dispatcher and, as I later learned, the operators at Brunswick and Martinsburg. The next day we were in a museum in town somewhere and from an upstairs window I saw a train of autoracks headed up by Western Maryland F7s! A great time to be a young railfan and history buff.

Cool video. I just can't believe kawasaki makes trains. A few years ago I was on the media trolley and saw kawasaki written inside of it. Who knew a motorcycle company makes train cars

Funny, these trains and it's variants run around in Europe for ages now. Good to see them in the US now too. I hope you will enjoy the Swiss product. We love them here on the other side of the ocean.

I learned the hard way to avoid New Orleans mass transit from 3pm til about 6pm on a summer's afternoon. They see how many people they can cram in a trolley or bus and most everyone has been baking in the sun waiting while their deodorant is failing them.

Don’t all stations have special needs provisions…..elevators for handicapped individuals???

This is quite common. Industries dont close their doors on them. Should see all the door when were switching in the yards

Is it me or did anyone else hear news report on the radio I listen talk radio. This story stated that a hopper car like in this video show up to it's destination empty. This is the part of the story that concerns me very much the cargo??? Ammonium nitrate does anyone remember OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING??? The railroad shipping this load of fertilizer was Union Pacific that story disappeared quickly. Now I believe this happened and I believe this happened with in a year or so ago, the railroad is imbarist .

Wish they hadn't built the tunnel with such sharp turns. They're gonna have a hard time getting the new trolleys through there but I guess if they're articulated it might work
